Question:
ARE CENTRUM VITAMINS OKAY, DO THEY DISSOLVE??

I was taking the Centrum Chewables for adults but noticed that Centrum Performance Tablets have alot more vitamins and minerals. Are tablets okay to take, do they dissolve enough to be absorbed? I use the Centrum Silver vitamins and they seem to do fine. My doc told me to give them a try about a month out and I had no problems with them. You might ask your doctor to be sure that it's okay to swallow a large pill at your current stage but I've had no problems at all. I also take calcium, zinc, and biotin and they are pretty large pills too and don't have any problems with them either.

i have been using centrum Silver and the walmart brand Equate mature Complete, which is the same as Centrum Silver. i did the test. i put Centrum in water and it dissolved in about three minutes and the walmart brand in four. the centrum dissolved better. if it dissolves in under five minutes we can absorb it.

I use Centrum Silver and they work great. All my labs are terrific. They are a bit large, but I can handle them. They have everything you need. However, I do take my calcium, B-12, and iron with Vit C. I take two Centrums a day. A.M and P.M.

If you have problems with any whole tabs and still need chewables, check into prenatal vitamins. They should have plenty of extra that you are looking for and they DO come in chewable form.

My surgeon recommends chewable children's Flintstone vitamins. They don't taste too bad and have 100% of daily requirements. Two (2) per day-1 in am, 1 in pm.
