Question:
Where is best place to buy vitamins?

I need sublingual B-12 (combo B-12, B-6, and folic acid), a chewable multi-vitamin (Centrum) and a chewable calcium citrate? Please help. I can't find any chewable versions or the sublingula B complex. I had a sample of the B complex that I really liked from awebsite but WAY to expensive to purchase on a regular basis. Thanks!    — Deborah F. (posted on October 7, 2003)

You can find what you need at vitaminshoppe.com or vitalady.com. Good luck!

Also try WLSSuccess.com. As for the multi-vitamin, I can get those at Costco. I use the childrens chewable.

I get the B-12 at GNC, the chewable calcium citrate at RGARDEN.com and the Flinstone chewables at Wal-Mart. I took the advice from the others at this site and bought the calcium citrate(not Tums)because your body absorbs it better.

I was able to find the chewable B-12 at a health/nutrition store here in Minneapolis 100 for $3.91. That is the best deal I have been able to find.

After doing a lot of looking around for my husband's vitamin needs, I found that Vitaminworld.com and vitaminshoppe.com are the cheapest overall. GNC is a little higher priced. Vitaminshoppe.com has extremely fast shipping, although both sites have stores in my area so that I usually just take a sort ride over the the store.

I have found that www.vitacost.com had the lowest price on the chewable calcium citrate (Twinlab wafers 60ct for $7.25). I use sublingual B-complex from vitamin world ($6.99, but look for deals/coupons) and use sugar free Bugs Bunny children's chewables for my multi.
