Hi there...I had the VBG surgery 3/18/03. As of 4 months post op I was down 71 pounds. I am so happy that I had that surgery and would do it over and over again. I chose that surgery because it is less risky (my opinion) and didn't want to worry about not getting what I needed with the other surgery. I am 47 pounds away from *MY* goal weight.
