Question:
Does anyone know whether indigestion feeling is normal?

HI, I had my surgery this past Tuesday, the 29th. I was feeling fine until yesterday and I started feeling like I have constant indigestion. Is this normal until my body gets used the band, or should I call my doctor.    — Donna B. (posted on July 31, 2008)

Your digestive trackt was just altered two days ago. Indigestion is possible due to your digestive tract re-adjusting and the fact too that you're probably on only liquids. Nausea, strange noises from your abdomen are possible after WLS. Unless you're in pain, or vomit everything you swallow, including water, then I would not worry. You may also feel weaker than normal and tired for the first 4-5 weeks after surgery. DAVE

Hi Donna, The indigestion you are feeling my be air that you have been swallowing. I had lots of belching and flatulence post lap band surgery. I was a walking one woman band! That is subsiding. Thank goodness! The best way for processing is walking, walking and more walking. Best of Luck! Mary-Anne

A powerful liquid vitamin/mineral like VEMMA will settle your digestive tract. Good for irritable bowls. Go to www.TrySomeVemma.com
