Question:
Where can I find comfortable undergarments to support my sag?

I am 16 1/2 months out and have lost 134 pounds so far and still need to lose about 100 more. As I lose weight it appears my fat is redistributing itself especially my lower abdomen. The lower parts of abdomen now peek out of my undies. I cannot wear high-cut undies as a result. (never could) My weight loss appears strange to me. I am still wearing the same size bra also! (maybe I was SQUEZZING in these boys before) Because of my stomach area I have to wear clothes that are bigger. I heard of a site called lipoinabox.com Has anyone ever used these garments? I must add that I have suffered TWO major complications so far and wonder if having to wear a wound-vac for 7 months may have resulted in my fat being out of proportions. Thanking you in advance.    — NEETAJEAN (posted on February 11, 2007)

i've tried every brand of shapers and like Barely There the best. I started at 2xl and now am at size large. they are so comfy but do hold everything in nicely. I hide my flab very well with them.

I haven't used that line of clothing. I have however bought stuff from the Avenue. It's kinda hard to explain..I'm sure there is a word for it. Anyway, it's high waisted and goes up under my boobs and it's as long as spandex shorts are. Keeps everything nice and tucked in..I haven't lost as much as you have so maybe alittle different. Congrats to you for your great success :)

Also I hear the Spanx line is very good. I know they carry it on QVC.

lipoinabox.com is the website; as previously mentioned, spanx is available on qvc as well as in many lane bryant stores (same prices at both.) avenue stores are now having a sale on many of their avenue body line of shapewear, and macys.com has the 'barely there' line currently on sale. all provide support and shape without binding and cutting; try different styles in different lines, you'll find something great for everday wear and shaping and make your clothes fit and look better, as well as garments designed for special occasion wear.

I have found some great undergarments on E Bay. I found some that keep a nice silohuette while holding things in, one for example, has full coverage on the back with hooks in the front that begin just under the bust, so you can still wear your own bra but still get the support you need in the back and front midriff to lower abdomen. I also found one that is the same as the above but also has the crotch so it controls the hip, lower abdomen, and butt area even better. Just look around and try things out. Some work better for one and not others. Good Luck! Amber
