Question:
how long will i hurt where they put stitches on the inside?

I had surgery on the 13th of Nov. and I didn't have any abdominal pain. I
did have some shoulder pain from the gas.

I had surgery on Nov 7 and I had no stomach pain at all, in fact I ask my
surgeon "did he do anything on the inside" and his answer was
"yes, no pain is a good thing"

I had my surgery on Aug.9th I also had no pain on the inside got the one
tube out the next week and it did not hurt either I have done great I would
recommend this surgery to anyone my Dr. was in Bridgeton Mo. Dr. Roger A.
delaTorre was a great surgeon first in area to do laproscopic WLS

I had the laproscopic gastric bypass surgery done July 11th and NEVER felt
any pain from stiches or anything else! I did feel bloated afterwards which
was uncomfortable for a brief time, but NEVER any pain! Relax...it's a
wonderful process! I'm down 100lbs. now too! :O) Trish

Ok, I must be the freak here because I had internal pain not caused by gas
for about 2 weeks. It may have been because they repaired a hernia and
scraped away some scar tissue. I can say that it wasn't the insisions that
hurt. The pain was not unbearable and by the third week I felt much
better.

Your internal organs do not have the nerve endings the surface of our skin
does. Our skin has it to warn us of danger to ourselves (generally extreme
hot, extreme cold or some kind of trauma/injury). So if you have stitches
or opening of some kind on the surface of the skin, you'll feel those a
bit, and it might feel a little "weird" inside, but there
shouldn't be any pain whatsoever. If there is, definitely contact your
surgeon and tell them immediately.

I JUST HAD SURGERY ON MONDAY, NO PAIN AT ALL WHILE IN HOSPITAL AND NO PAIN
NOW THAT I AM HOME,I ALSO WONDERED HAD SURGERY BEEN DONE,AMAZING
