If you are asking if you can have it after surgery, the answer is absolutely not!!!!!

You shouldn't drink for at least a year. It's very harsh on surgery...Alcohol goes straight to the blood too...and I get tipsy almost immediately after a few sips of wine. Like everything else that you are "suggested" not to have, I do have a drink now and then in moderation. I love to have a glass of wine before dinner...But I cannot handle more than 4 ounces or I get very drunk (I need to be in control of my brain, so that doesn't work out for me) ...I didn't even have any alcohol for well over a year , maybe even two years...Be very careful if you drink...Alcohol is often the WLS Transfer addiction...People go from food to alcohol. That can be a sad if not dangerous a choice. Please be aware of that...Your liver and kidneys do soooo much work to get rid of all the junk and the high protein...Alcohol is just one more thing to put a lot of strain on your body...Okay? Moderation!
