Question:
can someone please explain to me the relationship of lymphedema and wls?

Kate, I am not really sure how to answer you except to say that I have Lymphedema in both legs. It is MUCH worse in my left leg and my doctors both told me that the WLS would make it much better. So far, I have lost 130 pounds since surgery and my leg is 7 inches smaller in diameter. I am still battling frequent infections but they are not putting me in the hospital. Prior to the surgery, almost every infection put me in the hospital for several days. PLEASE let me know if I went too far afield and did not answer your question. Do you suffer from Lymphedema?
