Question:
HAS ANYBODY GOTTEN A VERY ITCHY RASH ON PARTS OF THEIR BODY A FEW WEEKS POST-OP?

If so, what caused it, how long did it last, and what did you use to get rid of it? I am 6 weeks post-op, and I have had this itchy rash on my legs, stomach and arms for the past 3 weeks.    — DENISE D. (posted on September 25, 2003)

Denise....what you are describing is very normal. I had a bad rash and was itching furiously after surgery. It was due to the morphine and anesthesia. It will go away. Just keep putting on your hydrocortisone and be patient.

I had the same thing and I realized I was dumping a lot of toxins out of my body. I had an anti-bacterial cream from when I had an irritation from fire coral and used that and within a day was lots better.
