Question:
Has any one had plastic Surgery in Mexico?

well let me tell you I havent done plastic surgery but I did the gastric by pass there I didnt have any Ins and here cost to much they will great very nice if I have to do it againg I will go with my eyes close they treat me a lot better than here.

I am also interested? I have heard the cost is 1/3 but the risk? I had complications on my TT That is what frightens me about surgery in Mexico What would happen in that case?

Hi Terry. I had a major abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) on 6/12/02 in Mexico. My doctor was wonderful and spoke perfect english. He required an EKG, blood work, and psych eval done the day before surgery so it was definately on the up and up just as in the US. The cost was significantly less than in the US. Only about 1/4th the cost. I chose my doctor based on his reputation and the fact that he tends to be more agressive than doctors in the US (something I was very interested in). His staff was wonderful and caring. The girls who took care of me were AWESOME and I can't praise them enough. I will point out that things have not gone perfect for me since returning home and I've been seeing my local PCP weekly for that reason. Still I would highly recommend my doctor and his facility. They were great. In fact I'll be returning for a "touch up" in December and am looking forward to it. I'm happy to share my experience and answer questions for you or anyone interested.
