I just got a call from my surgeon's office to tell me that my surgery has been approved!!!!! they will be calling me soon with the date and everything I need to do ahead of time, the preop testing etc... Congratulations Cora, It will feel like forever and so very much testing
but it will be very well worth it! Pre op testing seemed trivial to me at
first but thankfully I was mistaken. Best of wishes to you and your

Congratulations!!! I just had my surgery two days ago, and I feel
wonderful. I am at home, and resting, and drinking and walking.... You
will do great! I'm so happy for you!!

Congratulations to you!!! Take this time to begin getting yourself as
healthy as you can for surgery. Walk a little, cut back on carbs, drink
water, don't drink with your meals and practice eating your protein first
and then veggies with tiny bites. Lots of deep breathing exercises to tune
up your lungs as well. What an exciting time- best of luck.

Hello Cora! Congratulation on your approval. I know exactaly how you feel

Best of luck to you this is an awsome journey. You are on your way and it
is such a great feeling when you get that call. Just make sure you do
everything the Doc. tells you to and you will do fine. I had RNY on 2-11-09
and it is the best thing I have ever done it has only been this short time

Congratulations!! We can celebrate together, Yeah!! My surgery is scheduled
for March 25. My sugeon had me go through most of the testing already. I
meet with the anisteisiologist (?) and my sugeon this Friday for final
instructions and such. I'm still on an excited high and I found out a week
ago. I hope everything goes great for you.

I'm happy for you, Cora! You'll be so happy. I'm almost 2 years post op and
140 lbs lighter. I had no pain after the surgery and healed quickly. I wish
the same for you.
