A girl I know did get pregnant. She had to get the fluid out and her baby
was delived c-section due to past medical reasonings. I never really asked
her about morning sickness, but like I said, she did have to get the fluid
taken out. I hope this helps at all. Good luck.

I got pregnant 3 months after having the band placed. I did have some
morning sickness, but it was mild and only lasted a few weeks. (I was not
vomiting every morning, but did vomit some) I had only one fill in my
band. I did not have to have any fluid removed. My surgeon said that they
would only remove the fluid if there were signs that I was having a problem
or if the baby was not growing well. I had no problems other than
Gestational Diabetes (which I had with all my children). I went on to
vaginally deliver a normal 9lb 6oz baby girl.

It is very important to have the fluid (or most of it), removed from your
band while you are pregnant. With restriction, there is no way you can
take in enough nutrients to deliver a healthy baby. Morning sickness
varies from person to person and from pregnancy to pregnancy. If you had
bad morning sickness, the vomiting could cause your band to slip. It is
much better to remove the fluid from the band and have it refilled after
you give birth. Both you and your baby will be much more healthy. Good
luck to you!
