Question:
Anyone have an enlarged heart due to obesity?

was told i had a enlarged heart because of being obesity i was 366 at the time of my surgery i year later and it is still enlarged i dont think it will shrink lost so far 170lbs

My husband had an enlarged heart and lost 70 pounds. His heart shrunk and thinned. They say it was thinked due to the enlargement.

It depends on how significant your heart is enlarged now. Thickened walls can reverse with less s tress on the heart. Dilated walls cannot reverse.
