Question:
anyone out there have plastic surgery on medicaid

I haven't, but I know two women who had breast reductions paid for by medicaid (not due to wls). I imagine they will pay for it only if there is a medical reason to do so (infections, rash, etc)

If it is a necessary operation/procedure, then they may pay for it. But, Medicaid does NOT pay for an elective procedure. I've heard from other people that Medicaid does not cover WLS whatsoever.

I have Medicaid and I live in Kentucky and it paid the entire surgery and has covered all my visits .. medicians everything.. I am 1 year out today March 25th 06....All I had to pay was the psyc doc. ... good luck
