Please do not worry about this. With any weight loss that happens quickly our skin starts to "hang" There are products out there to improve the elasticity of our skin on our face and hands and such, The skin does have a memory but it takes some time to catch up to the weight loss. If you have a panni or hanging skin elsewhere on your body "plastic surgery" may be an option for you. I know in Canada it is covered for medical reasons and I have heard of MANY patients in the US having plastics covered under their insurancel CONGRATS on the 136 pounds that is such a milestone, never forget where you came from and it will help you to maintain. I am a revision and made my mistakes and I just wanterd to reach out to you. Also if you are very bothered by your face I know that if it becomes a "mental issue" it could be covered too

Congratulations on your fantastic weight loss. I also hope that you will not worry about this. Overweight individuals often actually look "younger" due to the fact that our skin is unnaturally stretched and smooth. As the other response indicates, there are many ways to eventually address this issue. IMO, the biggest thing to remember that your weight loss will help you stay alive and healthy! I think it is better to look a little older and be alive and healthy, than to be a younger looking corpse. Keep up your resolve and congratulations once again.

I don't think it's premature aging hon, it is from weighing so much and having it stretch out skin. I have been told that I look younger than I did when I was heavy. But we are going to have "saggy" skin everywhere, it is typical and one of the side effects from the surgery. I think it is a small price to pay for not being "fat" anymore. Hugs!
