Question:
IS IT POSSIBLE TO HAV BARIATRIC SURGERY IF YOUR SPLEEN HAS ALREADY BEEN REMOVED?

MY SPLEEN WAS REMOVED DURING A PREVIOUS OPERATION IN 1997 AND I HEARD THAT I MAY NOT BE ABLE TO HAVE THE BARIATRIC SURGERY WITHOUT IT. DOES ANYONE KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THIS OR DID YOU HAVE IT DONE WITHOUT A SPLEEN? THANKS JENNIFER    — JENNIFER M. (posted on July 20, 2002)

Sorry you haven't got any responses yet, and I sure don't know anything about this subject. But since you hadn't got any answers, I thought I would post... Have you checked the library? I haven't accessed this part of AMOS yet, but have heard you can research subjects through the library. Hope someone posts here with an answer, or you can find the answer you're looking for!
