Ate too much or too fast or didn't chew well enough. I get the gurggling too -- it's funny -- I'm 11 months out and get it sometimes at night after I've had something to drink and go to bed. It's too funny and I have to get up for about an hour until it goes away. Oh, to alleviate the nausea, you might want to start taking Pepcid AD before you eat -- that will take care of that. My surgeon put me on this everyday for 3 months and after that time I did pretty good for awhile but every once in awhile I get that nauseated feeling after I eat and I'll take one and be alright. You might want to call your surgeon and let him/her know about the nausea and what is recommended for you to take.

I'm sure you doctor is checking for signs of digestion on your scheduled visits. Foaming is when you try to throw up, and foam is what only comes out. Ask your doctor, as he is most familiar with your particular body and situation.

I found that I needed to do a walk after eating and then my hour had past and I could ahve a drink of water when I got back. These seems to cut down on the gurggling in the gut. Do not lay down after eating. It makes it worse. There is a drug your doctor can perscribe if you are still nauseated. I have not had that problem, but the gurggling is common because there is not the same amount of food and you are not going down all the same pipes with stomach acid any longer. Try the walks, it solves the problem of excersize as well.

The gurggling is very good, its telling you everything is "alive" again.. :) I was getting nauseated because I was dehydrated.. :( but check with your doctor to make sure, there could be something else going on.. as far as the foamies go.. I had it for a few days... until I realized that when I burped that ment that I was full and then I would quit eating and the foamies stoped.. Im not sure if it will help you, we all are so diferent in our journeys but it is great that we have a place here to post and see what others go through or have gone through.. Good luck and God bless you Paula

Gas X became my best friend for the 2nd and 3rd month! I would take the total amount each day that I could (via the directions). I was told it was quite normal, and that nausea tapered off right after the 3rd month. I am 9 1/2 months out and I still get nauseated once in a while (about once a month) I just pop a gas X pill and viola` nausea gone. The gurggling is definately good. That will get better as time goes on. Hang in there everything get's better with time! Good luck, God bless and welcome to the losing side!

Sorry to hear you are having this. I had the same thing. Saltine crackers(2 counts as 1 tablespoon) helped me immensely as well as gas-x. My dietitian also tolod me to have 4oz of milk as soon as I wake up and a low sugar/fat yogart in the afternoon. I use the small vanilla dannon light and fit. It's considered a liquid and has helped so much with my nausea. Make sure you let your doctor know, as it may be something else...the start of a stricture perhaps??? good luck and hope you feel better soon! Wanda Morgan
