Question:
Anyone have VGS around 11-26-08 ?

I had VGS 11-26-08. I started the program at 243 and am now 207. I was just wanting someone to talk to that had surgery around the same time to compare notes with, or anyone to talk with and be friends.    — jeanne_wise (posted on December 23, 2008)

I am hoping to have VGS surgery real soon. I will be using Dr. B at Edmond also. How much weight did you have to lose before Dr. Walton would do your surgery? I will look forward to hearing from you. Good luck on your weight. joejoe

I had VSG with Dr. Walton on 5/28/08. Since my initial consult with him in March, I am down 88.5 pounds and I'm thrilled! So I don't have a surgery date near yours but I could always use a new friend! I also live in Edmond. You need to come over to the Oklahoma forum if you haven't already. There are a bunch of us there! It sounds like you are doing great so congratulations! Kim

I had VSG on 9/5/08 - don't know if that is close enough for you. I am down 15 lbs in the 2 weeks pre-op, and another 65 since surgery. Averaging 2-3 lbs a week now, which is fine for me. A couple plateaus here and there, but down 48 inches total! I'd love to be friends. You can check out my profile for more info! Wendy

Hello I had my VSG on 11-18-08... my stats are 370/307/268.5/205... I lost 30 lbs in 2 weeks but have slowed down and only lost 8.5 lbs in last 2.5 weeks. I also would like to talk and see if your finding the same things I am... Rob Allen
