Question:
Plastic Surgery Help!

1. I'm 23 and have not children. I do want children however I want to have a TT done. Should I wait or should I go for it? My skin is so saggy! 2. I have a small waist and a big butt. I've heard that once a TT you become more square and loose you butt and I see it and it scares me. I would like to know does that have to do with age or does it happen to everyone. I don't want to loose either. Help!!    — mamita093 (posted on January 9, 2006)

Hi Jen, To my knowledge a TT should not overly effect the shape of your bottom. However, I noticed that you stated you do not have children. Most PS's do not like to do a TT if you have not had children or plan to have children. I am currently 11 weeks pregnant and plan to get my TT and breast Augmentation shortly after I lose my baby weight. Hope this helps ... Tiffany

Hi Jen, I had a TT 12 years ago after the birth of my twins. I had a huge fold of skin where my stomach skin was stretched out due to pregnancy. I did not loose any of my butt. You can chat with a PS and he/she can do as little or as much as you would like. Just make sure you make your desires known before hand. Peace, Susan

Hi. I had a TT last January (I am 55 years old), and love my new figure. Plastic surgeons usually advise patients to consider child bearing before a TT. Once you have a TT, if you become pregnant, in most cases it will destroy what the surgeon has tried to maintain in the TT. I do not say that through hearsay, but straight from the horse's mouth. I know quite a few PS personally and work with another handful. These guys do not do TT revisions, so once you have it done, if you stretch it out or the tightening loosens up, it's a done deal. I would think about having your children first and then the TT. You have plenty of time and besides after you have the children the TT will get rid of all the added skin that comes with the pregnancy. Good luck to you.
