WILL MWDICADE AND MEDICARE COVER PLASTIC SURGERY

I have never heard of them doing it. I was told if you get a rash or infection where the fat lays over, they might, but this is a very slim chance, and ten to one will not qualify.

Most plastic surgeries are referred to as "Elective Surgery", which means it is not medically necessary. Now, if you have an illness or a problem of some sort, MEDICARE should pay for it. I don't think MEDICAID will pay for much of anything! I would like to know myself, because I have breast implants that are over 10 yrs old (they usually only last for 10 yrs) and they have made me sick. I'd like to know if my MEDICARE would pay to have them taken out BUT, also pay for breast reconstruction. Anyway, I've babbled on too much!! Good Luck!
