Question:
has anybodyon here had the body wrap

has anyone on here ever had the body wrap. do you realy loose 6-20 inches in 1 hr. and does it stay off. or is it just water weight. does it help with loose skinn? does it work    — yvettetas (posted on May 26, 2007)

No it comes right back in within 48 hours. It just looses excess water weight. For an evening its great!! Other than that you waste your money

I haven't had my WLS yet, but did have a body wrap after another surgery involving extensive skin grafts. I waited until all open wounds had healed up of course. There are many different kinds of body wraps. I was concerned with skin health and choose the one best for that. I did loose a clothes size for about a week, but the best benefit was the moisturizing, toning and smoothing effect it had on my skin. Those results along with good aftercare, lasted a couple months. I felt I got my money's worth, but it wasn't a long term fix.
