Can lactose-intolerant enzymes be taken after rny?

Pre-op I'm lactose intolerant and use otc enzymes like a lot of people before eating dairy. Since cottage cheese looks like a big item to maintain protein levels, will those enzymes still work after surgery?    — scottiemaam O. (posted on August 3, 2001)
