Question:
Has anyone had this surgery or taking vitamins effect the Liver

hello My doctor told me my liver enzymes were elevated they weren't at my 3 month check up in March. I went to my PCP becasue i was having abdominal pains and it wasn't like any period I had ever had. I was vomiting and had diarrhea so they took blood and urine and she told me it sounded like a virus that just hit when I was on my period. But now we have this information. I had my surgery on 12/7/00 and I will be 5 months on Monday. i went online and it said sometimes overdosing on vitamins can do this to you . Has anyone had any liver problems?    — Lisa W. Do you still have your gall bladder? A lot of the physical symptoms sound like gall bladder disease. Also, somewhere in the recesses of my brain, I remember that your liver enzymes may elevate with gall bladder disease since they are so closely related. You are also at the "right" stage post op for developing this problem. Maybe she would allow an ultrasound to find out?
