Hello, I worked for Tricare prior to having surgery and the majority of requests that came through my office received approval ever since Humana took over the contract in Nov 2004. It truly depends on what documentation and procedure codes your PS submits for approval.

I have Tricare Prime and will be having my full tummy tuck done Friday! Didn't take long at all, First visit to PS was May 9th, and I had approval on May 17th. If you need anything, let me know.... [email protected]
