Can you help me find a Surgeon who accepts Medicaid/Welfare in PA.

Hello. I am a 39 Year Old Female with a BMI of 47.1 I have been out of work since June 2003, Because of My Weight and Medical Problems related to my Weight. I have tried SEVERAL Weight Loss Plans over the Past 20 Years, But have been unable to Keep at a Healthy Weight. I am a Member Of Health Partners Insurance, Via Welfare/Medicaid. Can you Help me to find a Surgeon who accepts Medicaid/Welfare Insurance to be approved for Gastric Bypass Surgery? Perhaps with your Help, My Primary Doctor and My Neurologist, You can help me Live again. Thank You for your time and consideration. The Liv Lite program is in Kane, PA and I think they take your insurance. Give them a call 1-877-LIV-LITE

My son was on welfare at the time of his surgery, and his insurance was through UPMC for You. His surgery was performed by Dr. Philip Schauer of Univerty of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He has since left UPMC, but the surgical group is still active, and it goes by the name of Minimally Invasive Surgery Center, at Magee Women's Hospital of Pittsburgh.
