Question:
Not sure, but I think I may have a blockage

Hello all, I am 3 1/2 years post-op, I have been doing fine. Just yesterday at breakfast I noticed that I was barely able to eat anything. I had munched on a piece of bacon while I was cooking it, but then when I sat down I noticed a pain in my stomach, hunger in my head but a painful full feeling in my tummy. I drank a couple of cups of hot tea and thought that would help it (it didn't) I have been able to eat but not even a quarter of what I would have eaten the day prior. I figured this would have went away but it is the next day and I'm still experiencing this problem. I need some advice on what I can do. I figure that this is probably a good thing (not being able to eat a lot) but it's pretty painful when I try to eat something. Any advice would be wonderful! Thank you!    — Kristina P. Sounds more like an ulcer than a blockage. According to my nutritionist, with a blockage you are throwing up green bile a la The Exorcist. But of course you should consult your doc.

If its the bacon - try 'meat tenderizer' this will desolve it.. if that doesnt work call your surgeon.. He can have you scoped to see if its actually food, or something else. if its food they can 'remove' it.

Get thee to thy surgeon. Prolonged pain at your stage is not normal and should be evaluated.
