Question:
Is there anyone on this site living with Roux Stasis Syndrome??

I have Roux Syndrome and I was wondering if there are anymore people on this site living with this.What are you eating and what are you not eating to keep from getting blocked?Are you taking anything and is it working?    — Lisa H. (posted on April 21, 2004)

Its a rare disorder where the pouch stops pushing food along, a kinda paralysis. there are treatments for this, some diabetics get a form of it too without ever having WLS. Thats my 2 cent understanding, you might look in the library for more info stasis or syndrome as good search words

One of my doctors thought I may have had some type of thing like this. He prescribed Metoclopramide. Had to get the bottle. Anyhow, it didn't seem to take care of the issues I was having so i quit taking it. That's all I have to offer. Whatever it is that effects me comes and goes...so who knows.
