Question:
Has anyone experienced their hair becoming extremely wavy?

It is funny, my hair became very wavy to almost curly. Lasted about three
months. I never did find out why, but enjoyed it while it lasted.

Funny you should mention this. My hair was always straight with a bit of
wave around my face that wasn't worh mentioning. Since WLS and losing
about 20% of my hair, it has grown back thicker and very wavy!!! People
want to know if I got a body wave! I cut it short when it started falling
out last summer and it is totally back and prettier than pre-op. I get a
really good haircut every 6 weeks and love my new look. I now use some
Infusium and a dab of Citrus Shine curling gel on damp hair and it takes
less than 5 minutes to do my hair in the morning instead of the 30 to get
it 'right'. I also used a ton of hairspray in the hopes it would last for
the entire day. Now, I'm ready t roll in a flash and if I have plans in
the evening, I just wet my fingers, fluff it up and let it go...cool!

Yes, mine waved goodby for about 3 months. If it will come back I won't
care what it does.

I always had coarse, 'bumpy' hair...not enough to be curly, but not
straight either. After the births of each of my kids, and the hair loss
that accompanied them, I found my hair came back curlier each time. After
three kids, I now have almost curly hair. When I started to shed my locks
this time, I went and had all of my hair cut off and asked the stylist if
she thought it would come back curlier yet and she said that you never can
tell...it might end up stick straight. Yikes! So, I guess anything is
possible. If you've found that your hair is changing though, sounds like
you have yourself a good excuse to treat yourself to a new look to go with
the new you.

Yep. I lost about 1/2 of my hair and then it got down right curly. And
not just the new growth, the old hair got curly. Very strange.

Hi Wanda- I am 39 years old, pre-op with straight dark brown hair. I have
noticed that the greys that are coming in (and boy, have they been coming
in lately) are stark white and wavy. I've always wanted wavy hair but not
WHITE wavy hair! LOL Good Luck! Mea aka Cruella DeVille.
