Question:
Doesn't 4 ozs. seem small?

I wasn't taking the cottage cheese test per se, but just had a small 4 oz. carton as a snack and I'm pretty full after that. I hadn't eaten recently, about 4 hours prior. Does that seem like a rather small amount to be able to eat?    — scottiemaam O. (posted on January 27, 2003)

Anne, I'm pre-op but it sounds about right to me.. of course, it depends on how far out you are.. but my surgeon says my pouch will begin at less than 1 oz, and in the first year or so probably stretch to 4-5 oz...hope that helps.
