Question:
Anyone know where to buy C. Instant Breakfast in bulk?

My doctor requires a 3 week pre-op diet of Sugar Free Carnation Instant Breakfast, blended with non-fat dry milk and fat free milk. Does anyone know where I can buy this in bulk wholesale price?    — asumamma1 (posted on October 12, 2002)

My doctor gave us an order form for Carnation Instant Breakfast by the case. Unfortunately, I no longer have it. I thought it was printed right from their website, but I checked that out (www.carnationinstantbreakfast.com) and you can only buy the individual boxes there and a websearch didn't turn up any places where you could buy in bulk. If Sams or BJs doesn't have any, maybe you should try calling the number on the Carnation website and see if they will let you buy by the case. I also read elsewhere that if you ask, they'll send you coupons. Good luck, I was on the CIB diet too and I only found one store in my area that carried the sugar free, and ONLY the chocolate. That's my favorite anyway, I wasn't too fond of the strawberry and vanilla they gave me at the hospital.

I know the answer to this one! I too had searched the website, and it took a few emails to get the correct info. Carnation just changed - they are now selling bulk through Care Express. This means it's much faster (1 week, they said vs. 6) but a little more expensive. I just received a case of 64 NSA vanilla, I sent my check and order in at the end of August and I just got it this week. It cost around $30, shipping included. The new method I think said it would cost aroung $35, which isn't bad. Here's the 1-800 number for Care Express. 1-800-210-8132. I can't find the order form that came with my package, so I hope this helps. Good luck!! =) Sarah

Try the wholesale clubs like BJ's, Sam's, Costco. If none of those have it then call or go to the Carnation website. If you have to call them I am sure they can point you in the right direction. You could also speak with the manager of your local grocery store and explain the situation to him/her and they may be able to work something out with or for you. Nothing beats a failure but a try!
