Question:
I have pain in my stomach especially after I drink something.

It is kind of a burning pain. I am usually ok when I wake up, but after I swallow water I feel the pain. It might stay for a minute or so then it leaves. Sometimes it comes on without eating or drinking. It is a very low-grade pain, maybe five on a scale of 1 to 10. No nauseu at all. I talked to my doctor's office (doctor out of town) and the nurse didn't seem concerned. Thought it might just be a part of the healing. I am almost three weeks post op.    — Lisa N M. Hoo boy, do I remember that!!! It'll likely get better in time. I'm just over 3 months out, and it's only been for the past couple of weeks that I can actually drink water w/o feeling uncomfortable. At this point, you need to just sip small amounts, not drink. I can now drink pretty normally. Hope this helps.
