Question:
Tell me about Alba!

I was at my pre-op testing yesterday and met with a nutritionist who mentioned something named Alba. When I read over the handouts she gave me, I saw it had a lot more protein that Sugar Free Carnation Instant Breakfast, which she compared it to. Has anyone used it? Most grocery stores carry Alba. Its a pretty tasty shake mix that's been around for years. My grandmother used to drink it. If I remember right, it had 77 calories and comes in chocolate, vanilla and strawberry.

It is in the diabetic section of my local food store. I use the hot cocoa alot.

I drank some on my second week as part of the full liquid stage. I blended it with milk and ice because I like cold drinks and I was hoping to get it thicker. - tired of liquids - it got really foamy and gave me terrible gas. When I get brave enough to try it again, I won't add the ice and blend it for a shorter period of time so it won't foam up.
