Question:
Has anyone's husband or boyfriend complain, or thinks that just because your.....

losing weight, the size of your vagina is going to change. I really don't care what he thinks because I did this surgery to be healthy, and live longer but I am very curious if other women have come up to the same issues. Do you lose weight in your vagina, or does it stay the same regardless. If it did were the complaints for the better or complaints for the worse?    — [Anonymous] (posted on October 27, 2001)

Hi. Sorry if this is a XXX answer...but I'll give it a shot. I have lost over 100 lbs and am about 50 from goal. I have to tell you that the sex is better than ever with my husband. I am more "flexible" and penetration is deeper. As far as losing weight in your vagina...I don't think so. As far as I can tell EVERYTHING on me is smaller...not sure how that happened. My husband doesn't have any complaints ;)

Believe it or not, my husband and I thought this same thing in the beginning of my journey. But, to ease your mind, it didn't make my vagina any larger. Instead, we now have deeper penetration and more intimate moments because of the fact he can get closer to me. Losing weight not only helps health, but it increases energy, and for me, losing weight increased my sex drive. My husband got over the fear of hurting me and enjoyed that little perk. LOL. Just relax, and let things happen. Let yourself heal first and take things gently. It will be ok.

I am hoping to have surgery and I sure hope it comes soon because my sex life is definitely suffering... I know that losing weight would only make it better. For once I want to be on top and not crush him or not be able to move. Sure I can get up there, but my thighs are so big I can't go anywhere! And when you're thin you can go shop at Victoria's Secret and I'm sure he'd like that ;) I have a very loving boyfriend of two years and he is a wonderful lover... I want to be able to please him as much as he does me :)

I did once read in a womens magzine that overweight women are "tighter" in their vagina. However, I think all of the sexual perks pointed out by the previous posters will far outweigh the benefit of being a little more snug in there.

Surprise him, exercise those muscles. Serously, you can tighten those muscles, I was taught how to do this after having babies. Go pee, stop it in mid flow, feel that squeeze? That's the target muscle. When sitting in front of the puter or tv, squeeze it, hold it 10 slow seconds, release, work up to 5 or 10 of these three times a day. Do the elevator, instead of one big squeeze and release, slowly tighten it to the count of ten, each count getting tighter, then slowly release the same way. Like any muscle it will take 2-4 weeks for results, but once they start, he won't complain about anything! (ps, this is called kegeling or keggels(not sure of the spelling) Hugs
