Tammy, I was soooo happy to see you post today and to hear that you are feeling better! It sounds like you are doing awesome and have lost a considerable amount of weight. Don't worry about the plateaus, they happen, and they also give your body a chance to rest and your head a chance to get round your weight loss. This is also the time when you lose inches. Stay strong and keep up the good work. Have a wonderful new year!

<p> <font color="red">Angel Update: Tammy is home!!</font> <p> I finally got to speak with Tammy this morning! She was released from the hospital on Monday and got her staples out today. The doctor also told her that her hemoglobin is getting back to normal. Tammy had some serious complications, not unlike mine. She had some bleeding and had to be given 4 units of blood. When asked how she was feeling she said, "Getting there...". We can all relate to that, can't we? Please drop by Tammy's page and welcome her home! Thanks! <p>

Tammy, I was glad to read that you came though great! It will get a little better everyday. The first 2 weeks are the roughest. Tough those out and the rest will be a breeze! Take care, Vickie

<p> <font color="Red"> (o/) *Angel Update* </font> <p> Got a message from Tammy's husband, Jerry today to say that Tammy is doing well. Apparently they took the tube out, she is off oxygen and has been sitting up. I'm hoping that Tammy will be allowed to go home soon. Please stop by Tammy's surgery page and drop her a line. Thanks!

Tammy: I am glad to hear you made it through your surgery. I will be thinking of you over the next several weeks. I am to see Dr. Cooney on 8/8/01. I hope to have my surgery in October or November. It is really is an adventure to a much better life. When you feel better, I would love to hear how things have went with your whole process at Hershey. Take care. <p> <font color="Green">(_o_/) *Angel Update* </font><p> Grrrowwlll...frustrated angel reporting! Although Tammy finally has a room of her own (Rm. 4214 at the Hershey Medical Center in PA) the patients do not have phones by their beds. So, I am unable to communicate with my li'l angelette. I left a message on her husband Jerry's cellphone so hopefully he will call and update me tonight.

<p> (o/) Angel Update: <p> Hi Everyone! I called the hospital today to speak with Tammy but unfortunately she still doesn't have a room to call her own. Tammy is in intermediate care and is on a waiting list for a room. In the meantime there isn't a phone in intermediate care so I couldn't talk with her. The nurse told me that she is doing just fine. Please pray for Tammy's continued good health and for a room of her own! (o/) Angel Out...
