There will be times when you won't lose anything for a couple of weeks too! Mainly at 3 weeks out, then maybe a few weeks later...then maybe at 2 or 3 months out. It is very common for us to have long stalls! I'm in one again... You may even gain a pound or two one week, but it will come off fast. I gained like 13 pounds in the hospital. It was off me 1.5 weeks later and then some.
Light weights lose weight much slower too. 1.5 pounds is average I was told. The lower your BMI, the slower you lose. I noticed you have a very low BMI. But not to worry, your weight will still come off you. Exercise is very very important to keep up with it, and you will do fine. I'm not allowed to do it yet. I had open surgery with many complications! Feeding tube and all. I almost did not make it I was told..The Lord is Good! I'm still here. I did know before hand that it was going to be a rough road for me. I had a wonderful surgeon!
We are told not to look at others weight lose. We are all different. And will lose weight at different rates. I know it is hard for me to do too. I'm always looking at others too...
Welcome to light weights! You will do just great, I'm sure. Alizka

Hi Gina,
I was just going by what my surgeon told us all along, that light weights lose at a slower pace...and what his Nut also said at our last meeting. I'm sorry if I was wrong....
I was told I would lose slower also because I had revision WLS. And also because I had many complications with my surgery. Even though I had the surgery from you know where...I am so happy now that I had it!
My first 2 months out, I was not happy at all with my surgery to be honest with everyone here. I was very upset and angry! But I did not want to deter anyone here from having it.
My case was very special and different. I knew going in I was going to have a rough surgery. So it is no ones fault really.
And yes I would have the surgery over again even knowing what I went through! I'm so happy to feel so HEALTHY NOW!!! YEA!!! This Surgery saved my life! Alizka
Now, they could have a point about revisions, I don't know. Maybe the body rebels a little with a revision? I wish you all the best with your surgery and weight loss. Hang tough, babeee!
((hugs))
