I cut myself off at 8:30 PM and don't eat solid food until after 10AM, as well!

So, I typically have my protein shake at 9AM, lunch at 11:30, afterschool snack at 4PM, and dinner around 7PM. It keeps me satisfied and it keeps me from snacking in between my four core "meals."

I typically always have a protein shake for breakfast, but figured I would try to cut it and save myself about 200 calories a day since I am working on losing about 7lbs of recent regain. I don't usually get hungry in the mornings and just had the protein shake out of habit really. Like you I rarely eat solid food until lunch time. So trying to see if it was wasted calories I can use somewhere else!

QOTD: Earl Gray, black. Love it at any time of day.

Actually, I drin****d tea (no sugar!) all day from the moment I get up until I go to bed. I don't drink coffee, so this is my caffeine infusion. I always carry a McDonald's cup or traveler everywhere I go.

B: 1/2 carton Muscle Milk Light, 3 oz curry chicken salad (w/ pecans, grapes, LF mayo)

L: 4 oz curry chicken salad (w/ pecans, grapes, LF mayo)

D: 3 oz pan-seared chicken breast with french green beans, toasted almonds

Morning! Happy Monday! It's CHILLY here today; I woke up and it was 55 degrees in our house! I ran and turned on the heat, haha, and it warmed up quick. My poor nephew had to come curl up under my blanket until it warmed up. I wish the hot, cold, hot, cold would stabilize.

QOTD: I LOVE TEAS. When I'm sick, I like a mint tea with honey and lemon. The Jade Citrus Mint from Teavana is a good choice, and Starbucks used to carry it, as well. I like chamomile tea with a couple splendas in the evening, if I'm in the mood. Other than that, I usually have a brewed green tea with splenda on very hot days. I should vary my tea drinking. I may go poke around for something different at the store today! Does anyone have any online sources for some fancy teas??

B: nonfat, sugar-free vanilla latte

L: I brought a small pouch of tuna and a premier. We will see what I am in the mood for, since tuna and chocolate definitely don't go together

D: The family is having smoked BBQ chicken over loaded baked potatoes; I'm having a salad with the chicken and SkinnyGirl dijon dressing (NO SUGAR or fat...a little vinegary, but it's good!)

Snack: leftover ham from yesterday with some 2% sharp cheddar (yum)

Exercise: I am about to do my 10 minute aerobics video now during my planning, and the wife and I have been walking about a mile in the afternoon after work

Good morning and happy Monday to you as well Ladyblu:-)

QOTD-I have hot tea everyday between 3-4pm, I count it as my mid-afternoon snack as well. It's always the same, Stash Double Spice Chai with whole cream and stevia. I did discover Celestial Seasoning's Espresso Chai the other day, it's a nice change. I took a tour of Celestial Seasonings production plant in Boulder, Co a few years back, that was amazing. Especially when the opened the door to the section where they stored the cinnamon!!

B-Ezekiel sesame toast w/1tbsp almond butter

L-Strawberry PP shake

S-Chai tea

D-baked hamburger patty with sweet onion, green beans

E-Hike with Emmy

Have a great Monday!

Good afternoon! We had company for breakfast. I made a low-carb breakfast casserole with turkey sausage and it was quite tasty. It is HOT and muggy here today. I think floating in the pool may be required for the afternoon.

QOTD: I hate tea. I hated it as a child and I have tried to overcome that several times, but I just can't. I LOVE coffee, but tea just doesn't work for me.

2 Years post-op

Always lots of coffee...

B: low-carb breakfast casserole (company for breakfast)

L: Deli turkey

D: leftover something... (salmon I think)

S: Yogurt and/or mozzarella/prosciutto sticks

Sorry! I return to Mass next week. I read your post about the 20's up there and was wishing we could stay here longer (LOL!).

Good morning for another few minutes!

QOTD: I want to like tea. I do like peppermint when I'm sick or a lightly flavored unsweetened iced tea when it's really hot. And occasionally if I'm in a British mood, an English breakfast tea with milk can be tasty. But mostly I prefer coffee.

B - coffee, yogurt, berries, grain free granola

L - egg sandwich

D - real good enchiladas

S - Starbucks sugar free vanilla latte
