Is Body Core Temperature A Core Factor In Obesity?

This may help explain why we get cold following WLS. I always used to run "hot". I always said it felt like my internal thermostat was turned up. Now, I really feel the cold and have to bundle up. Not good with the coming Minnesota winter!

"a fall in temperature is an important part of the adaptive response to energy deprivation (as in dieting)."

I took some extra iron, since I have been FREEZING.  Now I am constipated and cold, but my iron levels are GREAT!

I haven't had a noticeable change in temperature. I'm glad!  I bike commute year round and I'm almost never cold.

Yep. I'm sitting here in jeans and fuzzy slippers! I'm checking out Goodwill next week for sweats. I may have to buy some larger sizes so I can wear 2 or 3 layers at a time! Gotta keep warm!

I just posted a topic about this. Everyday I wake up with freezing my buns off. My hands feel like I'm walking around with ice cubes in them.

I was extra cold the first 3 months or so, but since my temp has regulated. Nice not to be super sweaty anymore, also nice not to be freezing in f'n July.
