The NJ/PA/DE and surrounding area OH Meetup has been booked!

We have rented Pavilion number 3 at Ridley Creek State Park
The address for GPS is:
351 Gradyville Rd.
Newtown Square, PA 19073

We chose this location as a centralized location, quieter than most other parks, with accessible parking, playgrounds, bbq's, and bathroom facilities nearby. This park also has hiking trails, horseback trail, and fishing-please see the link for more info.

(roughly 40 mins from philly, 50 mins from south jersey, 1hr 45 mins from harrisburg)

The meetup is on Sunday June 5th, 2011 from 11am-4pm

This is a potluck, please bring a VSG friendly dish to share if you can. If you know ahead of time what you are bringing please message me so I can inventory what we have and what we need.

For more detailed directions contact Veronica (Time4menow2010) as she lives close to the facility.

Feel free to bring family, friends, people in the weightloss community (those thinking about surgery, pre-op post-op, with RNY,VSG,Lap-Band) and of course-yourself!
Everyone is welcome.

We will also be holding a clothing swap at the meet-n-greet- Bring clothes that no longer fit to see if someone else can get use out of them.

I am going to try and make it with my kids. It will depend on whether I can find a place to stay, but I think I can work it.

Eta: my cooking isn't really weight loss friendly per se, and I am coming from NY (about 4hrs from the park) so lemme know if I can help with non-perishables.

I am still loving life with my sleeve! Been maintaining at or below goal for over 4 years!

If you can come with the kiddies that would be great- you have a hike ahead of you so I wouldnt worry about bringing anything unless you wanted to bring something non-perishable like bottled water or something of that sort.

I know its weird but if you absolutely need a place and cant find one I have 2 open bedrooms at my home, you guys are welcome to stay. LOL.

Bottled water sounds like a good plan. I have friends from this site who live in south jersey, so I am gonna try and stay with them- and then drag them along, lol.. Thanks for the offer, that was very nice of you! My entire family lives in philly, so if I can't find anywhere to stay at all I have bigger problems than the picnic... Ha ha

Drew has drill weekend so he couldn't make it, but I found out yesterday that the girls annual dance recital is that same day at 1pm, so we aren't gonna be able to make it either.. I am upset, but they have worked all year, you know?
