Good morning! I'm so glad that most of you had a great weekend. I had a very nice one and the weather is glorious. I also mostly behaved in the food and bev department. Not perfect, but even though I managed to make myself feel terrible Saturday afternoon, I really didn't consume that many calories. I did continue my streak of doing nothing in the exercise department and was disappointed in myself for that. But today, HIIT class is done and I have a plan for the week.

QoTD: In the moment of fun things, I love getting and sending texts. For important things, a phone call. And I'm not hating on the Happy Hour zooms I've had lately.

Bites today!

B: leftover potsticker soup with a fried egg

L: more leftover pork chop and a piece of vampire garlic cheddar cheese

D: I've got chicken thighs resting in feta brine and will put them on a sheet pan with tomatoes, baby potatoes and red onions. Yum.

Peace Everybody.

QOTD- If it's something short text, if not phone call.

I got my 4 butterfly bushes and star jasmine planted on Saturday. The ground is so hard it was a real struggle, but they are in the ground. The butterfly bushes were only in 4" pots but the ground and the roots were a pain. I think it's clay soil since it is so hard. I put little white tags at the base of the butterfly bushes to prevent the lawn guys from thinking they are weeds. I had a lupine plant that last year I grew from seed and transplanted it but apparently the lawns guys thought it was a weed and it is gone...I've got some small ones from seed and I will put the little white pot tags next to them to hopefully prevent future "weeding".

I'm struggling with work, and have a call at 9, so I'd better get to it.

Have a great day everyone!

I think the rabbits have been eating our butterfly bush.

Hellooooo Monday! Late from me, I slept til my alarm and then had the gym and a doctors appt and then with the late start, time got away from me. I had the BEST weekend. Balian Springs was delightful. Dinner at Ellie Bird was phenomenal. And Saturday I went on a long walk with a friend and her dogs and then dinner at an amazing Afghan restaurant called Lapis in DC. Just yum. I capped it off with an epic hair color and cut yesterday. I'm going shorter and shorter!

QOTD: all the things. I love to text I love to talk I love to FaceTime!

My last four meals have been chicken and I'm getting a little tired of it ha.
B: leftover rotisserie chicken and goat cheese and peri peri sauce.
L: half a bagel with cream cheese and smoked trout. I bought an entire smoked trout at Costco and had to bring it in to the salons fridge. Hilarious.
D: maybe chicken quesadillas!

Have a most fabulous day!
