Do you like the weighted hoop? I have one, but just can't seem to get the darn thing to go around more than a few times. Of course, when I was younger, I wasn't very good at hula hooping so maybe that's why I'm having issues.

I hate to admit that although I've had it for probably a year, I've only used it a handful of times. Once I get started it's not too bad and I think it would help with my core.

I bought one of those during lockdown, I never got the hang of it and ended up giving it to my little niece because she was a pro

Don't wait for Grim to try sushi. A person who does not love veggies might not love sushi. I went to a Japanese restaurant on my own and asked the waitress to recommend something for a person who never had sushi. She can up with a roll that had cooked tuna and a lot of delicious rice and vegetables. I finished all of it and it was a lot.

Sometimes I just pick it up prepared from my local Giant Eagle store and it is very good. The most delicious thing I have eaten in a long time was at a little hole in the wall place a few blocks away from the OH conference this spring. It was a poke bowl with tuna, pineapple, and mango. Everything was unbelievably fresh and tasted so good and they prepared everything right in front of you from their huge assortment of fish, fruit, vegetables and sauces.

I thought about working in education, but never actually took a job. It is a different world than business, for sure, and totally different people and attitudes. It is the definitely to right place for you.

G'morning all!

QJB - Yay for a good second and third day of work. I am very happy you like your co-workers and environment. I have a feeling the school system was so bad that now a normal group of people and a normal environment seems so extraordinary to you.

Thank you for the good wishes for my pinched nerve. I can't believe something so tiny can bring down a grown person. But, I am optimistic and doing everything I can. I am practically walking around with a heating pad, I found few stretching exercises to release the pinched nerve that I am supposed to do 5 times a day.

The highlight of today is the premier of Dune II. Fun fact: there are 22 books in the Dune series and I have read 19 of them. The books 4-6 were too out there and per Jen's suggestion I skipped them. Can't wait to see the movie.

QOD: something new? Today? I'd be happy if I could walk without limping. How about that? No limping walk.

My meals yesterday:

  • Coffee
  • TJ kebab w/fage yogurt
  • Protein pudding
  • Emipie's egg salad
  • E: 5 miles walk - limping

Happy almost Fri-yay!

I had a pinched never in my shoulder a couple years back and they gave me a steroid to reduce the inflammation. I was better in 2 days. You may want to talk to the doctor to see if he has anything he can suggest.

I think I'm working through it with exercise and stretches. If by Monday it's not better I'll go to the Dr.

I have read the first trilogy a couple of dozen times probably, I have read the books I told you to skip twice. Once to get through them and another time to see if they were really as bat**** as I remembered. They were and you were wise to skip!
