Good morning Menu Friends! How is everyone?  I am great, cold but great! It's only 2 (35F) here! Brrrrrr

Remember to post your Remembrance Day/Veterans Day photo tomorrow and tell us about it.

QOTD: Let's talk "Comfort Zone."  Now that you are post surgery do you feel you step out of your comfort zone more?  It can be clothes you wear, applying for a new job, speaking in front of a room full of people, asserting yourself in an awkward situation where you normally stayed quiet. For me it's ALL of those things but what sticks out for me the most is clothes. Pre surgery I never wore dresses/skirts, never worse clothes with colour, never wore high heels, never wore sexy lingerie. I rarely if ever wore makeup or jewellery, yes I pretty much gave up. You would find me in black tops and black pull on pants and hair in a ponytail. Now the exact opposite is true. I enjoy clothes shopping and buy lots of clothes with colours, other than my runners I am always in high heels, I do my hair & makeup daily, I have lots of fun costume jewellery and I might have treated myself to some cute sexy undergarments. I still struggle in my mind that I am too big for dresses & skirts. I carried a lot of my weight in my stomach & thighs and wearing a dress before felt like I was wearing a tent. I actually have several brand new dresses in my closet with tags on that are out of my "comfort zone," I work on this daily my friends, to have my head see where my body is, it's still a struggle for me. How about you guys?
