There is a marble in my belly button!!
OK, I have not seen anyone else mention this on here, but my PS put a marble in my belly button at my one week post op. He told me to clean it with alcohol and put bacitracin on it everyday and put it back in and cover it. When he first did it in the office...I PASSED OUT!!
SO today I did it and I was ok. I had to have my Mom put the bandaid on and pu**** in a little. The PS said this is so the belly button doesnt get small. It actually looks really good.
So does anyone else do this?

WOW, I thought I've heard it all but this is a first!! It kind of makes sense though. I'm not sure I'd be able to handle the maintenance of it....I'm kind of wuss with some of this stuff. I probably would have fainted too!
It's interesting how each surgeon does things a little differently. My surgeon cut me a very small BB because he said they tend to stretch.....so far mine has not stretched at all. I'm not overly concerned about the size I'm just glad I have one and that I had no healing issues with it.
Hope it heals nicely for you!!!
