I have sent the pictures and spoke with the cosmed doctor. He will be sending me my quote for a LBL and BL. I was looking at driving to Tijuana and it looks like I won't need a pasport. For those who have traveled there is there anything I will need to get across the border. Where did you stay? Anything else I might need to know.

Right now you are OK to cross with your drivers license and your birth certificate. I stayed at the Lucerna and I love it! We are going to stay there again when I go for my thigh lipo, arms and boobs. I had my LBL on April 2nd. Good luck to you!

Thanks Lisa!! I will check out the Lucerna online. How long did it take you to recover. I work an office job and was wondering how long I would need to be off work.

I was off work for 5 weeks, but could have possibly gone back after 4. The first 3 were pretty rough, in my opinion! Doc removed 22 pounds from my midsection, so it was a pretty big surgery. If you don't have that much you could possibly have less time off. I would definitely say at least 3 weeks off minimum!

I just got back from Cosmed and to my understanding you will need a passport as of July 1st, 2008. I stayed at Elena's after care house and I personally wouldn't stay anywhere else. They take very good care of you there and you don't have to worry about anything. Feel free to e-mail me if I can give you more information.
