Thank You

Thank you all for the tremendous show of support in your messages to me.  The situation on the weekend was grave nearly from the beginning, which began on Friday at noon. It was clear within about an hour while still in ER at Winchester that the situation was terrible. One of the most physically fit people you could meet, Glenn arrested early Saturday morning, and by noon Sunday I had to make the terrible decision to disconnect the life support which was supporting Glenn entirely. His heart never beat again after we turned off the pacemaker. I don't know what I'm going to do next but I may just need to retreat from the world for a while. I will check in here of course  I hope that all you "losers" continue to be healthy - and those waiting in the line-up will have smooth journeys to and from the OR.  I know we will all talk again soon.

The announcements were in Ottawa Citizen and Toronto Star yesterday, and will show up in Kemptville and Winchester soon.  The link for anyone interested, is:

I am thinking of you all and again, many thanks for your support, offers of help and private messages.  It means a great deal to me.  I am keeping all your messages.
