This has to be scary, but even so, it's good that they are being so thorough and ordering a full work-up. If it does turn out to be lymphoma, you would need all these tests for staging anyway, to direct your treatment. And if it isn't lymphoma, you need them to continue the search for a diagnosis.

As others have posted before, this is tough to go through. I think the fact that you are so pro-active in your own health care will without a doubt have a positive impact on any results and possible treatment.
