Small Update - Got Biopsy Scheduled
Well of course they scheduled a biopsy for you! All that worry for nothing.
If they are giving you any sedation, you will need a ride home. And I don't know if they would accept a taxi or bus. Many hospitals and clinics won't. So you might want to check on that ahead of time. I know you're new to the area and have no family around, but even if you have to hit up a co-worker or neighbor for a ride, do it.
If the procedure will be done with local only and NO sedation, you might be able to drive home. So call ahead.

Thanks, Larra. I know this might sound a little daft (unrealistic?), but I was hoping that it would just be local & that I could go to work for the rest of the day. I just have a desk job . .

I am so glad that you have a support community here on line! But it breaks my heart that you don't have one there in MO. I wish I was there, I would gladly be your driver and question asker, (I am good at that) but sadly I am 8,000 miles away. You are at the top of my prayer list! Thank you for keeping us posted.
