After all my posts to encourage new post-ops to be patient, PLEASE - someone - remind me that 33 lbs in 5.5 weeks is amazing, and NOT to be discouraged that i've not lost weight the past 10 days.

thanks.

Don't be discouraged. It is normal to stop losing after the initial huge loss. I stopped frequently. Maybe every couple of weeks to a month. It just does a head trip on you... but this is very very normal for post op life.

And I hereby give you permission to whine about it. That's what we all do!

You're amazing!    Your body is just taking a little breather.    Mine did the same thing.   Don't fret.....one day you'll get on the scale and be down like seven pounds.   It's just too cool.   Promise me one thing - post and let us know when it does, cause it will!

YOU are doing amazing!  I know it is hard to be patient when you want it off NOW.  You have lost more than I did by 5.5 weeks, and my first "stall" was 13 days, then I dropped 7 in the next 4 days after that. My body seems to do this thing - lose 7ish pounds in a week, then lose nothing for 2-3 weeks, then drop 10, then nothing... it is very weird.  Keep your chin up.. you're doing great!

Did you take your measurements? If not this is the time to do it. Some times we will decrease in size without losing any pounds on the scale.

Hang in there. And only weigh once a week or once every two weeks. Anything else will drive you nuts....

You are doing great....the best piece of advice that I got after my DS was do not be tied to the scale...do not live and die by it.  Look at things like measurements, the way your clothes fit, the way you feel.  These are also indicators that you are on the right track.
