Think Long and Hard Before Doing This.

I don't get it, were you one of the 1 in 50 that died from RNY? I think I just proved you wrong.
Plus, WE ALL know the only real source for fair and balanced new is FoxNews.com.

The death rate from WLS is 1 in 50 and not the 1 in 200 the WLS industry tells us.www.cbsnews.com/stories/2005/01/21/earlyshow/contributors/me lindamurphy/main668323.shtml
All I will do is post facts. If you disagree then prove me wrong. Fair enough?"
Now, THAT is some funny ****!

I'd like to keep it real for a couple of minutes. You are the same person who posted the other day "Dying Please Help", and that you have had continuous vomiting for several days.
In fact I did PM you to see how you feel and to advise you that if you are really dying it might be best to go to the ER right away if you are really that sick or that maybe you should return to your surgeon or visit your doctor to find out what is going on or if you can't maybe check in with another doctor locally. Seriously if your dying as you mentioned why post?
Its terrible what ever is going on with you but your posts are very provocative and not very informative.
I hope that you will be feeling better soon, why not let the group know what your current plans are to get help rather than leave odd messages/riddles.

I have to say if I hadn't been as utterly DESPERATE as I was ( diabetes complications and all dancing around in my head) a post like Urs would surely have scared me away from seeking the lifesaving surgery that has profoundly altered my life in the most POSITIVE way ....
giving me my hope , health and body back .
I am 100 % healthy 18 months after my RNY ,my labs are awesome, my AIC s are low-normal range ... I FEEL and look great ...
and while I don't blame what happened to you on a lousy choice of surgeon I DID do very very careful research before I allowed anyone to cut my body open...
As far as post op self care goes I always put my HEALTH and common sense before faddish dieting to lose even more weight ( yes I WOULD call low -carbing that ) . I personally think eating that way long term is risky and dangerous ... I prefer fresh veggies , fresh fruits , whole grains and a little high quality organic protein . And very low fat .
My BMI I think is 22 right now .. I'm happily ( and effortlessly ) holding at size 2 -4 at 5'9" .. feeling energetic and TERRIFFIC thank God... and am so grateful I had support from the wonderful members of this site to help get my surgery and get through the shocking aftermath of losing my best "friend " ( try worst enemy ) - binging on excess food
Huge hugs ya'll !! Thanks !
