I was not given the honest truth about the risks. This was the worst thing I ever did. I would have been better off fat.

PM me for details.

Please share the details here, so that everybody can discuss it openly, and learn.

Oh look, it's the one-hit wonder back for more

Why do you think that only those who PM you are worthy of the details?

Tell us all how awful it is.

If all you're going to do is be a big old scare-monger without information, what good is that?

RNY has resulted in my becoming lactose intoleran****er intolerant, sugar intolerant and I have reactive hypoglycemia. I knew all these were possible. I'm not all shocked or anything that I ended up with those difficulties.

Anyone who can't handle the potential complications of any specific type of surgery, shouldn't have that surgery.

Water intolerant? Could you elaborate? (Maybe you have already, but I wasn't paying attention. Sory!)

I can't drink straight up water ..... add some lemon or lime or crystal light or protein shake powder, and I'm fine.... but more than three ounces of water and my stomach goes squirrely, and more than that I vomit.

For some reason my stomach doesn't like straight up water. I theorize that it is because my stomach is a zero-acid enivironment and yet it LIKES acid, as that is how it was built. So when I add a lot of pH neutral water to my stomach it siezes up! Throw in some acid and it's pleased a*****h.

I'm so sorry you feel this way.  I am very happy with my procedure, but I have been fortunate and not really had any complications.  I've followed the rules and have maintained my weight loss for 2.5 years.  Next month will be my 3 year anniversary of my surgery.  I'm very happy that I had RNY and wouldn't change anything.  Again, I'm sorry that you have not had the same results.  Wishing you the best in your journey.
It's all good in the end, if it's not good, it's not the end!

Coming on here with a brand new profile, and immediately starting in like this, brands you a troll. Those of us who have been here for years, who have posted the good & the bad, have seen it all.

My RNY sucked, I did something about it, I give info to people who ask.

While I agree that bypassing the stomach is a bad idea, I think you are a troll. Your listed surgeon was my secondary surgeon with DR. Fobi who did my initial fobi pouch. I asked you if you had a RNY or fobi pouch and you haven't answered. I'm just curious who you really are? You are obviously on this site under another account.
