Mini-Gastric By-Pass Surgery

I am new to this site and I just wanted to say hi to everyone and say that I will be praying for all of you considering the MGBP Surgery.  I am very obese and it is complicated by the fact that I am also in a wheel chair due to Polio as a child but I am not thinking of having surgery.  I just need some support to lose the weight.  I would like to extend support to any of you who are considering surgery though.

I'm happy that you are NOT considering MGB, it's a dangerous and outdated procedure.

 Hi, and welcome!  Not sure why you titled your message "Mini-Gastric By-Pass Surgery" simply to say that you're praying for those that have had it.  Do you know someone who has had a bad experience with it?  There are many other surgical options, and this is a great place to learn about them.  But, if surgery just isn't your thing, you might also want to check out this forum:
